Our desire is to share the wonderful ways in which our world was created to produce abundance and beauty. These systems have been severely damaged through human activity but may be completely restored through application of simple and sensitive choices for change.
This may be done formally through teaching and workshops or informally through relationship and working alongside one another in day to day life and on local farms. We offer Organic Agri-nutritional Trainers Schools (OATS). OATS trains trainers to equip individuals and communities in food security, nutrition, natural medicine and appropriate technology. The OATS school involves three months of classroom and practical training and offers a two month internship on the field. Follow up internships are also available. This school is currently offered both in Africa and in North America.
We are working in countries in both Africa and Asia to create sustainable agriculture systems which mimic the natural bio-diversity of the country and are integrated with the natural landscape. Using biointensive and permaculture techniques, we work to restore worn out ecosystems while maintaining abundant food production.
Seminars may be designed to fit the needs of particular communities or organizations. These may be from 5 days to four weeks in length. Contact us for more information.
